Sensible Cinema Box Office for Windows

holdingcd

Some drivers and additional hardware resource kits may be found on our program CD-ROM and the product manufacturer’s website. The user agrees to the terms of any applicable license agreement required by the manufacturer in order to use the drivers. Sensible Cinema is not responsible for the content found on these third party driver disks.

TICKET PRINTER DRIVER:

There is no driver here to download because the built in Windows Generic / Text Only driver lets FGL codes from the software ‘pass through’ the Windows print spooler unchanged. Works for any FGL language ticket printer from Boca, Datamax and Practical Automation. In the Windows Control panel start “Add printer wizard” choose “Generic” under manufacturer and “Text Only” for model. After installing, under properties for the driver, preferences button, paper/quality tab change paper type to “Cut Sheet” to ensure proper form feeds are sent. Do Not use Windows drivers supplied with the printer or on the manufacturer web page because the Sensible Cinema ticketing software is not designed to use them. Instead, FGL (friendly ghost language) codes are sent to the printer to utilize its internal fonts, allowing for faster printing.

EPSON RECEIPT PRINTER LOGO UTILITY:

Epson Printer LOGO UPLOADER  516 KB (528,509 Bytes)
IMPORTANT:  In order to get this utility to work and properly connect to the printer for uploading your logo file, any printers configured in the control panel for the printer port to be used must first be assigned to other ports or deleted. This is something we discovered from Epson’s support team after getting a “Communication Error” even when the printer was properly printing. You may also have to specify in the Device Manager that the printer is allowed to “Use any available Interrupt” under the port settings tab for the LPT port and reboot the computer afterward. Use the double-width and double-height feature to ensure the image fills the width of the receipt and is no taller than you like. Once you have uploaded the image and are satisfied with how it looks when test printed, don’t forget to reconfigure your printer driver(s) back to the port you use for standard use. Also works on Ithaca 610 printers with Parallel interface.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE:

Sign Info Program 3.40 MB (3,575,333 Bytes)

IMPORTANT:  In order to get this utility to work and properly it must be installed on a computer running the Sensible Cinema Box Office for Windows software. Otherwise, components will be missing and it will have no data from which to get its sign information. This program creates a file called BLOAD.TXT on your computer that can be read by digital sign software from Texas Digital, Data Display and Trans-Lux, enabling the use of digital box office signage, auditorium marquees and other automated systems. Information about auditoriums, features schedules and available seats is shown in the file this program creates and updates at intervals of 15 to 60 seconds.

STANDALONE CREDIT CARD TERMINAL SOFTWARE:

Manual Credit Card Terminal (3.57 Mb)

It could be used to capture credit card sales made on other devices such as cash registers or to sell gift certificates and other merchandise not sold through the Sensible Cinema terminal program. An internet connection is required at the time a transaction is to be executed. PCI Compliant. Revised November 24, 2007.
